1.0 All Classes General Rules
1.1 Frames may painted, bodies may be painted and wrapped, but neither may be modified.
1.2 Aftermarket nuts, bolts, screws, and bearings are permitted.
1.3 Any transmitter, receiver, and steering servo is allowed.
1.4 1RC factory ESC only.
1.5 1RC motors only, must be unopened and unmodified.
1.6 All batteries maximum charge rate of 1 amp. LiPO batteries max 8.4 volts. Anybody shocking, pumping, or overcharging batteries to try and gain an advantage will be shown the door.
1.7 We use Trackmate Timing and LiveTime scoring. Transponders are available at the track for purchase. Live results are available by visiting http://BigMooseRC.liverc.com and selecting “View Current Event.”
1.8 Traction Additives. Our preference is water or 50%/50% Simple Green/water to clean and prepare tires. We have a tire cleaning station set up at every event and you’re welcome to use it. If you feel you must use traction compound the ONLY option will be SXT 3.0, part number SXT00030.
IMPORTANT : If you have previously treated tires on your car from other races or tracks, start over with a new set. We have them available or can order, just ask.
No altering of tires to make them swell, enlarge, or sticky will be permitted.

2.0 Sportsman Breakout
2.1 This class is designed for the new or box stock racer.
2.2 Any 1RC car is allowed, refer to your specific class rules.
2.3 This sportsman class is a breakout class. Lap times faster than a predetermined minimum will not be counted in your total. The current time is set at 5.0 seconds. This time is subject to change if and when the layout changes.
2.4 Drivers consistently breaking out will be asked to move up to the class applicable to their car.

3.1 Designed to be a box stock class, with very few exceptions. Shark Alien Body is allowed. Aftermarket bumper is ok (see 3.6). No other aftermarket hop-ups are permitted.
3.2 Parts allowed in this class are those listed on the 1RC site under the category of “Late Model Replacement Parts.” Parts from the category “Late Model Option Parts” are NOT allowed
3.3 ESC must be set to factory defaults, easiest way is to do a factory reset. Manual is available on the 1RC website
3.4 Shocks. O rings inside shocks are optional. A bump stop to the inside of the shocks can be an o-ring or heat shrink tubing. Grease for dampening is allowed. Shock caps may be drilled to eliminate rebound.
3.5 You may run the 1rc springs inside the front a-arms as from the factory or add 1rc springs to the front shocks (1RC5001), but you may not run both types of springs on the same front wheel.
3.6 Bumpers may be stock, removed, or aftermarket allowed.
3.7 Batteries. 1RC 5 cell NiMh ONLY. (1RC7007)
3.8 Tires. Only pre-mounted 1RC tires and wheels permitted. Tires can be lightly sanded to remove molding seam and initially cleaned with isopropyl to eliminate mold release compound. CA may be added to right front side wall if you find it necessary. No other tire modifications are allowed. 1RC5539 or 1RC5540 (stock on dlm 2.0) are the only allowed tires/wheels.
3.9 You may run shims or spacers on the rear axle to eliminate slop.
4.0 Dirt Late Model and Asphalt Late Model
4.1 Any 1RC hop-up part intended for your specific car is allowed except the 10k motor. Shark Alien Body is allowed for DLM. Aftermarket bumper is ok (see 3.6). No other aftermarket hop-ups are permitted.
4.2 Adjustable radius arm (1rc3016) is allowed to be substituted in place of the left rear radius arm.
4.3 ESC must be set to factory defaults, easiest way is to do a factory reset. Manual is available on the 1RC website
4.4 Shocks. O rings inside shocks are optional. A bump stop to the inside of the shocks can be an o-ring or heat shrink tubing. Grease for dampening is allowed.
4.5 You may run the 1rc springs inside the front a-arms as from the factory or add 1rc springs to the front shocks, but you may not run both types of springs on the same front wheel.
4.6 Bumpers may be stock, removed, or aftermarket allowed.
4.7 Batteries. 1RC 5 cell NiMh or any 2s 7.4 lipo that fits in the stock battery box without modification. Lipo batteries are highly recommended. You may get them from us plug and play. If you choose to run a lipo you must run a ubec voltage regulator with a max output of 6.09v with the motor spinning and rear tires elevated. Regulators are available from us with the correct connectors, plug and play.
4.8 Tires. Only pre-mounted 1RC tires and wheels permitted. Tires can be lightly sanded to remove molding seam and initially cleaned with isopropyl to eliminate mold release compound. CA may be added to right front side wall if you find it necessary. No other tire modifications are allowed.
DLM can use 1RC5539, 1RC5540, 1RC5541, and 1RC5542 only.
ALM can use 1RC5560, 1RC5561, 1RC5562, and 1RC5563 only.
4.9 No playing with gear ratios. Must run the rear axle assembly standard to the late model. 49T spur gear (white or gray), 44/12 compound gear, 10T pinion gear on the 8700kv motor. No modifying of the gears. No drilling holes to lighten the gears. No exceptions.

5.0 Dirt Super Late Model and Asphalt Super Late Model

5.2 Adjustable radius arm (1rc3016) is allowed to be substituted in place of the left rear radius arm.
5.3 ESC may utilize any setting available in the factory speed control.
5.4 Shocks. O rings inside shocks are optional. A bump stop to the inside of the shocks can be an o-ring or heat shrink tubing. Grease for dampening is allowed.
5.5 You may run the 1rc springs inside the front a-arms as from the factory or add 1rc springs to the front shocks, but you may not run both types of springs on the same front wheel.
5.6 Bumpers may be stock, removed, or aftermarket allowed.
5.7 Batteries. 1RC 5 cell NiMh or any 2s 7.4 lipo that fits in the stock battery box without modification. Lipo batteries are highly recommend and are available from us. Lipos can run unregulated in the super classes. Also see rule 1.6.

7.0 Asphalt Modified
7.1 Any 1RC hop-up part intended for your specific car is allowed except the 10k motor. No aftermarket hop-ups are permitted.
7.2 Adjustable radius arm (1rc3016) is allowed to be substituted in place of the left rear radius arm.
7.3 ESC must not be modified. Any built in setting is permitted, I e. timing advance, drag brake, etc.
7.4 Shocks. O rings inside shocks are optional. A bump stop to the inside of the shock can be an o-ring or heat shrink tubing. Grease for dampening is allowed.
7.5 Batteries. 1RC 5 cell NiMh or any 2s 7.4 lipo that fits in the stock battery box without modification. Lipo batteries are highly recommended. You may get them from us plug and play. UBEC voltage regulators are NOT required in this class. Also see rule 1.6.
7.6 No playing with gear ratios. Must run the rear axle assembly standard to the asphalt modified. 48T spur gear (black), 43/13 compound gear, 12T pinion gear on the 8700kv motor. No modifying of the gears. No drilling holes to lighten the gears. No exceptions.
7.7 Spacers and shims may be added to rear axle to eliminate slop.
7.8 Tires. Only pre-mounted 1RC tires and wheels permitted. Tires can be lightly sanded to remove molding seam and initially cleaned with isopropyl to eliminate mold release compound.
